Michelle Dahl

Michelle quickly found her love for dance at the age of 5, and has not stopped dancing since. Growing up in Texas with two older brothers, she was expected to fish, hunt, and paintball with them on the weekends. But do not let that tomboy image fool you; she loved her tutus and tiaras. As she continued to dance in a studio and compete on her high school dance team, her love for traveling began to develop as more opportunities grew. She followed her southern roots to South Carolina, and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Business Management.

After dancing for the Clemson Tigers for four years, Michelle moved out west and become an NFL Cheerleader for the Arizona Cardinals. During that time she experienced her first BARRE class, combining her passion for fitness and dance. She was so excited to teach others about a new fitness program that could sculpt them into a dancers body, without the dancing. She was quickly certified, taught at a local studio and as fate recently brought Michelle to Philadelphia. She immediately fell in love with the history that surrounds the city, and has developed a serious kryptonite for Philly Cheesesteaks. Some of her favorite things include, traveling, yoga, 3D movies, Mexican food, and spending time with her two loveable dogs, Buddy and Zoe. She loves meeting new people, being happy, laughing, and making other people smile! Michelle is delighted to introduce the BARRE format to Never Give Up, and to be a part of such an incredible gym.

  • Our Barre class is an increasingly popular, full- body, extremely effective, low impact, full body workout made up of small isometric movements targeting specific body parts to reshape, tone and define your abs, arms, thighs, legs and seat. This 45 minute class will have your heart rate up, burning calories and unproductive fat in record time, while quickly building lean muscle, strength and reshaping your body from head too toe. The music and your instructor will be motivating you through a sweaty, effective workout modified for your own fitness level.

    All levels welcome!

    Ballet Barre/ Body Bars (assist with posture, balance, get deeper into the movements)
    Light Hand Weights (assist with arm toning and abdominal exercises)
    Bands (assist with intensifying, toning and strengthening)
    Small Fitness Balls (assist with toning, intensifying and strengthening)
