Lamar Patterson

Lamar has been active in sports and fitness for over 20 years, with experience in high school and simi pro athletics ( basketball, track, baseball and boxing). Lamar attended Berean Institute for computer science, later transferring to Community College of Philadelphia for a degree in education where he found his true passion for Health and fitness. While attending CCP Lamar was Certified as a Personal Trainer through W.I.T.S
(World International Training ) later attaining certifications through PTA Global and Dotfit.

Philosophy: Fitness Training geared to all levels of performance, specializing in Strength and Conditioning, while teaching and promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Fitness Specialties: Plyometrics, weight lose management… strength and conditioning

Lisa Gomez

Lisa is extremely passionate about health and fitness. She graduated from Cabrini College and received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a concentration in Sports Science. She has always been an active individual but throughout her college years she grew a greater interest in the field. Fitness became her way of life and with this mindset she was determined to share what she knew with her family and friends. Lisa’s interest is total body conditioning, functional training, muscular strength and endurance training. She has experience working with different special populations and is determined to provide fitness to any individual regardless of their limitations.

Morgan Dowd

Morgan is a NGU Group Fitness Instructor, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and graduate of Saint Joseph's University. Growing up she was constantly active as a gymnast & competitive cheerleader, until an ankle injury ended her college cheerleading career at Rutgers University. It was at that point that she became extremely conscious of her body & weight which ultimately spiraled into a nearly fatal eating disorder. After 4 years in recovery, she consciously chose to turn her unhealthy obsession with exercise into a healthy outlet to manage stress and anxiety. She believes that getting that second chance at life has only fueled her passion to inspire wellness through exercise. Morgan has a passion for continued education in functional training and nutrition in order to provide the best for all of her clients and classes.

Leah Callovini

Leah recently relocated to Philadelphia from Washington, DC, where she began her fitness career five years ago. Leah participated in team sports in high school, but never really found her home in fitness until college. She fell in love with group fitness while studying at George Washington University. She began teaching Cycling classes in 2012 for the university's Campus Recreation program, which helped her realize her passion for helping others live their healthiest lives by developing healthy habits. After graduating from GWU with her BA in Psychology in 2014, Leah missed studying so much that she then self-studied and obtained both her ACE Group Fitness and ACE Personal Training Certifications within one month of each other. Her group fitness manager convinced her to sign up for the LesMills BODYPUMP Instructor Training program in 2015, which changed her life forever. Leah loves the energy and physical challenge that comes with BODYPUMP's continuous tension training and can't wait for her NGU participants to feel the burn!

Leah worked full-time as a corporate fitness professional for a large government agency in the DC-area before relocating to Philadelphia in January 2017 to pursue her Master's in Sport Business at Temple University. Leah can't wait to get to know her participants at NGU Training: She finds herself continually challenged by her participants and hopes to inspire them to do what they think they can't.
